David Attenborough documentaries

I am a BIG fan of David Attenborough.

The man has spent a long time shooting some pretty amazing stuff.

For example, right now, I am watching his baboon documentary which explores the social structure of baboon society.

But the strange thing is that Malaysian TV does not seem to like him.

I have noticed that the Discovery Channel in Malaysia seems to have a rather unusual programming approach.

The vast majority of daytime screenings on the Malaysian Discovery Channel seems to consist of animals killing other animals, eg lionesses killing zebras, crocodiles killing wildebeest, leopards killing antelope, etc etc. and on it goes.

To make sure you don’t miss any of this, the programs are repeated at night or ever few days.

I wonder why such bestial violence is so cherished by the Malaysian Discovery Channel.
